It is made to be very simple and durable. In fact, the price difference is one of the reasons why some people purchase the Volt 60, as it is pretty significant.
There are a few things that they have in common. For example, they both have the standard mesh side pockets and have belt pockets. They are both just as durable as one another and appeal to those who want to go hiking for several days on end. Their backpanels are highly adjustable to your own torso length.
Here are the features that Volt 60 has that Atmos 65 also has.
- Removable top lid: The top lid of the Atmos 65 can be removed to save weight and space. If you do not need the extra lead for your gear, simply remove it and place the flapjack it over the main compartment opening.
- Removable rain cover: Don’t get caught in a surprise downpour. Unzip the rain cover from the bottom pocket and put it over your backpack to keep it dry. You can actually remove this cover so you can eliminate a bit of the weight.
- Two front panel pockets: There are two zippered pockets in the front for all of your smaller gear.

- Anti-Gravity suspension – This feature is very helpful to hikers who are carrying a lot of weight in his pack. In addition to that, this design securely molds the backpanel to the user’s body making it more comfortable without restricting any movement.
- Hipbelt adjusts 5 inches: Both the Volt 60 and Atmos 65 have adjustable hipbelts. However, the Atmos 65 hipbelt has adjustability up to 5 inches, while the Volt 60 can only be adjusted up to 3 inches. If you have a particularly large or small waist, the Atmos 65 may fit you best.

The Atmos 65 comes with more size options than the Volt 60. If you are particularly tall or particularly short, make sure that you measure yourself correctly for corrective torso sizing.
