Osprey has been making backpacks for everybody who loves the outdoors for a long time. Long enough to have something for everyone. It only makes sense that Osprey would make backpacks that are specifically for women. A woman’s shape around the waist is different from a man’s squarish shape. This means that women’s backpacks need to be designed differently.
This is why we have created our Osprey Mira 26 vs 34 comparisons. The Mira is specially made for a woman’s body. But many women are wondering which size to get. They are also wondering if there are any design differences between the various sizes. We will be answering these questions here.

Osprey Mira 26 vs 34: What They Have In Common
As you might’ve imagined, the Mira AG 26 and the Mira AG 34 have a lot in common. Before we get into how they differ from each other, let us point out a few of their amazing features.
Made for women:
As mentioned, these backpacks are only made for women. They conform to the shape of the average woman’s waist.
No products found.
Stretch mesh front pocket:
We just love stretch mesh pockets, as they allow us to store larger items such as our wet ring gear and keep them separate from the main compartment.
Compression straps:
A good backpack would not be complete with adequate compression straps. This allows you to cinch down your backpack if it is not filled up all the way. This prevents your gear from sloshing around as you are active.
Helmet attachment loop:
There is a helmet attachment loop at the top of the front panel. This allows you to quickly and easily attach your helmet for easy access whenever needed.
Blinker light attachment:
There is a strap at the bottom of the front panel that acts as a blinker light attachment. Using a blinker light while riding a bicycle is essential to keeping under dark conditions
Trekking pole attachments:
Walking with trekking poles has become more and more popular in recent years. You have trekking poles in your hands, you keep up the pace at a more steady rate. It also serves to ease up the weight that is applied to your joints by putting them onto the poles. Use the trekking pole attachments to safely stow away your poles when not in use.
Side mesh pockets:
The side mesh pockets can stretch to accommodate water bottles.
Front panel access:
To make it easier to access the contents in the main compartment, the Mira 26 and 34 gives front panel access.
Removable rain cover:
These backpacks have rain covers that you can use during sudden downpours. They are completely removable for when you know that it is not going to rain and you simply want to lighten up the load.
Large front organizational pocket:
As you can see from the images above, the Mira backpacks have large front pockets. These pockets have many organizational mesh pockets on the inside to allow you to organize your smaller items.
Hydration reservoir sleeve:
These Mira backpacks come with hydration reservoir sleeves where you can store your water reserve for the day.
Hydraulics LT 2.5 water reservoir included:
Unlike some other Osprey backpacks that have reservoir sleeves, the Mira 26 and 34 come with a 2.5-liter water reservoir included in the package.
