- Uses water repellant threading
Important: In order to ensure optimal water protection, is it always important to seal your camping gear with water repellant spray. This is true of any tent while camping. In order to best water seal your tent, you can use Camp Dry water repellant spray. Spray your tent walls, ceiling, and floor. Also, use Camp Dry to spray your boots and outdoor clothing.

Coleman Weathermaster Tent Reviews
- An awesome tent for my 2 dogs, kids, and kids playpen. Just make sure to spray it with Camp Dry.
- The limousine of all Coleman tents. Great for my family of 6 and 2 dogs.
- This tent has lots of room. A 6-foot tall person can comfortably stand inside without hunching over.
- Set up took longer than inspected but did not realize that poles were color-coded so keep that in mind. Had more room than I expected.
- We got a queen-sized mattress and 2 twin air mattresses comfortably in the tent with plenty of room leftover.
- My wife and I put this tent up in 30 mins and sprayed it with Atsco Silicone Water-Guard. It takes 2 10.5 oz cans to fully coat the tent. The room divider is split with a zipper for easy access. There are tabs in the ceiling on which you can hang a lantern.
- The doors are easy to handle and are lined with velcro for daytime usage without needing to zip it up. At night, you can zip it up for extra rain protection.
- Order a set of Coleman tent stakes for this tent, as you will find that the stock stakes are less adequate than the separate set. This will be true of any tent that you buy.
There are some Coleman Tents that you might like to bring to your off-the-grid trips.
The Coleman Instant Screen House
This one has a floorless area that can be used for gatherings on a rainy day. Or Use it as a protected storage space for your camping gear and the like. This floorless space has a screened room for extra protection against sideways rain. However, since it is floorless, you will need to bring a sleeping bag or mattress for that area of the tent.
The Weathermaster 10-Person Hinged Door Tent
The 10-person tent is very similar to the design of the 6-person tent, but it has more room. In fact, it does not have a floorless area. But the look is almost identical.
