Yeti is a highly popular tumbler brand that has hit the market with a bang. They do have a cult following, but is there really justification to purchase a Yeti over a lower-priced Rambler? The Ozark Trail Tumbler is a more generic version of the Yeti. It is lower-priced and similar-looking to the Yeti. But how does it compare?
We have created this Yeti vs Ozark Trail in order to participate in the debate between these two vacuum flasks. We support our debate with tests and customer reviews so that you can get the best information available.
Below is a video of an ice cube test. This is a comparison in the amount of time that ice cubes will remain in each of the flasks over time.

Yeti vs Ozark Trail Ice Cube Test
As you can see from the video above, there is no difference in the amount of time that it takes for the ice cubes to melt. Considering this fact, we might also say that the same applies to the amount of heat that it can retain. Customers have noted that they do not see a difference and the time that it takes for their hot drinks to cool off with the Yeti and the Ozark Trail.
Are They The Same Product?
The Yeti and the Ozark Trail have the same features as each other. In fact, it has been said that they are both made in the same factory in China, but this may just be a rumor.
However, when both of these products first came out, they looked practically identical. They were stainless steel ramblers that did not have an outer layer of color. The only difference between the original ones was the fact that the names etched into them corresponded to each of their brands.
There are newer versions of each brand available now on Amazon. Now, the Ozark Trail ramblers actually taper towards the bottom. This means that they are easier to insert into cup holders.
Most people who have reviewed these two products have said that the efficiency of them are the same. One customer did note that they find that the Yeti seems to have a more polished finish. However, they also said that they would rather purchase the Ozark Trail for the fact that it costs less money.
Reasons to Purchase the Ozark Trail
While all the Yeti Ramblers can be purchased locally, they are more expensive than the Ozark Trail. If you are going to be purchasing the Yeti on Amazon, please remember that many of the listings are just knockoffs of the real thing. The knockoffs have bluish tints to the lids, and may not be as good quality as the real thing.
But as mentioned above, the Ozark Trail is just as good as the Yeti.

The Verdict
We have listed the reasons why the Ozark Trail may be a better deal than the Yeti. Perhaps the only advantage that we can think of to the Yeti is the fact that it is dishwasher safe, while Ozark Trail ramblers are not.
